Module 1.1 Employability Skills – Soft Skills

Module Overview

Through this course, career guidance professionals will learn the key employability skills required in the current labour market. In addition, learners will examine how to acquire and advance their employability skills to integrate successfully into the labour market and society. Upon completion, learners should be able to apply their employability skills in various situations, including in a job interview.   

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:

• Recognise the employability skills required to succeed in the current and future labour market. 
• Prepare a low skilled adult to apply soft skills in the labour market successfully
• Become confident in providing guidance and training to clients on how to acquire and/or advance their soft skills.
